Our green oasis

We would like to invite our guests to explore the Inova garden, a vast meadow full of surprises.

During your walk, you’ll come across several signs with QR codes that allow you to read and learn more about the garden — including its history, the edible garden, the pond, the forest, and natural life.​

Our meadow is called the “Hel Bemden”.

The name refers to the meadows along the Helbeek.

12,000 years ago, this was a humid valley 'de Helle'.

9,000 years ago, the hazel forest grew in the valley where Hasselt originated and from which the city also gets its name: 'Hasaluth'.
